LaVan Davis is an American actor and singer who is best known for his role as Curtis Payne in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, a comedy-drama series on TBS. His appearance on the programme earned him the 2008 and 2009 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series.
Davis made his professional debut in the movie Mindbenders in 2004. His two further guest spots on Everybody Hates Chris came after that. He joined Tyler Perry’s sitcom House of Payne a year later. As a result, Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and Daddy’s Little Girls both included him.
Additionally, LaVan Davis has been in stage productions like Why Did I Get Married? and Madea Goes to Jail.
