Sad news reaching us from the united states has it that, former Kotoko and black stars goalkeeper Anue Kofie, has been confirmed dead.
He died at the age of 79 after battling stroke for a long time.
Enue has been living in the United States for the past 30 years but comes to Ghana every year to visit his family.
His nephew Edward, confirmed the news “Yes, my uncle passed on on Saturday morning after battling illness for some time. He did not die of COVID-19 as earlier rumoured,” he disclosed.
Enue played for Ghana from 1966 – 1969.
